6/21/2021 – We live in Saint Johns Florida, I found Ryan by searching for bagpipers in Dayton Ohio, and I thank God that his web page was the only one that popped up. Ryan answered the phone immediately, luckily it was during his lunch time. Ryan was very kind, helpful and immediately ready to help in our families memorial service for my father-in-law. We texted back-and-forth a few times before the service, Ryan was on time and knew exactly what to do. I asked Ryan to play three songs, Marine Corps hymn after taps, Amazing Grace, then Going Home at the columbarium.
Ryan surprised us by playing a beautiful song as they were carrying the ashes into the area where the service would be held.
Like My husband and I, there were many in Attendants that have attended many burials at national cemeteries with Bagpipers. We all agreed no other bagpiper played with such amazing, Heartfelt beautiful music as Ryan did that day. Absolutely remarkable precision with his notes and sounds.
Ryan changed a memorial service that would have been completely dull, Into a beautiful celebration of the life of a remarkable man. At the lunch after the service no one could stop talking about Ryan’s amazing talent on the bagpipes.
Thank you Ryan for making the day so incredibly special, your willingness to help, Your friendly smile and your kindness, and of course your incredible music. I know for a fact if there’s a funeral in Florida, I will be flying you in!!!!
